The Skin Blz Girls Mission
The formation of the SBG business was born out of the love and excitement two sisters have for the skincare industry. We truly believe that there is no such thing as oversaturation of estheticians in the market. We think that continued growth in our industry depends on all skincare experts becoming better as a whole. We have noted that this industry is always growing and changing, and it can be hard to keep up. We’ve also seen that many technicians graduate from school and still feel very underprepared to build a clientele. SBG is here to be a support to others in our community, by offering continuing education on skincare treatments and business tips. We foster a community of open and honest communication with like minded professionals.
Caroline Smith
Licensed Esthetician
Caroline Smith was meticulously trained by Dermascope’s 2020 instructor of the year in one of the largest and highly regarded med spas in Austin. During her time there she focused her knowledge and expertise on advanced skin treatments, and the management of all customer service operations all while consistently building retail sales. In 2019, Caroline returned to East Texas to open her own spa, The Skin Apothecary. Just three months after opening her doors, the pandemic hit bringing new challenges to the young business. However, Caroline was able to pivot in ways to continue to service the community and allow The Skin Apothecary not only to survive these tumultuous times, but also to thrive. With three plus years on the books, Caroline has been recognized as one of the top 3 estheticians in Nacogdoches. With this experience and passion for her profession, Caroline is ready to help you achieve your aesthetic industry goals.
Ashley Smith
Licensed Esthetician
Ashley Smith is a licensed esthetician and spa owner with 18 years experience in the skincare industry. She has worked with large retail brands and in spa and medical settings. She has obtained a laser license and many certifications through the years. She spends most of her time doing permanent makeup and injectables at her medical spa. She finds the constant demands of the industry exciting and is always working hard to keep up with the needs of her clients and students. The challenges for a new esthetician, differs from a veteran skincare expert, and she has experienced them all. As a natural leader, she sees it as her responsibility to help others in her field reach their full potential. She truly believes the best investment you can make is in yourself. Knowledge is power and learning in this field should always be fun.
